In celebration of the anniversary of the first settler and founder of Lullanight, we would like to invite all to attend and participate in this year’s anniversary festival. This year’s theme is
“The Way We Are.”
The will be games, activities, face painting, food, and more! See details for time and location below.
The main street of Lullanight has been blocked off to give way to all the vendors and stands that where set up. The where floating lanterns that where suspended on decorated ropes that went from building to building. It seemed like every man, women and child that lived in Lullanight showed up. The crowd was so dense on some of the streets, that if you where to stretch out your arm your hands would disappear in the crowd.

Riko headed out to the festival bright and early to help set the stage for the day's main events. It was hard and boring work to set everything up but it was nice. The people that Riko were working with were all hard workers and easy to get along with, which made for easy work. Riko was in charge of helping build the stages for performances and aid in the electrical. The minutes seemed to fly by and the sun just started to rise as the last of the equipment was being put up.
One of the events that caught Riko's attention was Miss Valentine's speech on equlity and aid the general public can do to aid in the facilitation of moving mutants out of Abbeyveil. The only real reason why this caught Riko's attention was because Valentine was Alphonses's girlfriend. It was going to be held on the main stage in the city square. Riko speculated that Alphonse was likely to be there to support his girlfriend. So if there was a sure place where Riko could run into him it would be there. Riko wrote down the time the speech would be held in a little piece of paper than placed it into his pocket.
Now all that was left was to meet up with Kristina at the entrance of the festiv- Riko's thought was interrupted by a kid tripping on his foot. The kid looked a little rough with clothing who's ends were starting to flay at the end ''Let me help you up'' Riko anounced as he lifted the kid back to his feet '' Now be care full not to trip on anyone'' Riko notice that the kid had the the left side of his neck scared from burned that must have happened a long time ago. But, the kid didn't seem to mind. ''Thanks mister!'' The young child seemed unable to find an appropriate volume for the distance. And then the child ran off as if nothing happened.
Riko went back to his thoughts, that's right he was on his way to meet up with Kistina at the main entrance. Riko made his way there without a care in the world, like today was going to be just as lovely as he planed.

Katrina was setting up her booth when people were allowed to start. She had been jittery most of the time, she was excited to meet up with Riko. She started to hum as she worked, displaying all of her art. She had some trinkets that she had turned into cute little bobbles. She was worried a little bit, since she has not heard back yet from the committee who says who can use the stage for singing or not.
She looked at her watch, realizing that she was supposed to meet up with Riko. She freaked out slightly, turning around she tripped on a box, catching herself with her hands. Scrapping her knee and hands a little bit, she rant to the entrance. When she got there she smiled, he wasn't there yet, so she wasn't to late after all. Catching her breath she checked out her scraps, they were not to bad. She sat down a bit, petting her tail, it was really soft. She started to hum again, looking around a bit, she did not know how else to act. She was just to jittery, she couldn't stop smiling either.

Riko made his way to the main entrance, passing the riotous crowd. He was in a hurry so he jumped a metal fence, that was waist height, which must have run half the length of the festival, crossing the main stage. As he approached he notice Kristina in the distance, and his heart skipped a beat. It did take long before he got there, the question crossed his mind of how long she might have been waiting for him there? He suddenly felt guilty for having made his date wait on him.
"Hi, hoped you weren't waiting too long." Riko unnecessarily announced his presence.

Katrina had only glanced down at her knees for a moment or two, upon hearing a voice she looked up. Almost jumping up out of excitement, hugging him, she stepped back as she shook her head. "I wasn't waiting terribly long, just enough to get jittery" she laughed, it was a little obvious she was nervous. It was her first date after all, she didn't really know what to expect to happen. Looking at him, she smiled again, she could not help it, she was happy, and excited, and jittery. She didn't know how to act on a date.
"So, what would you like to do first?" her tail was moving about, as if it wasn't obvious enough that she was nervous. Since she never had many friends, only her land lady. She wasn't sure of how to act around people, but when she first met him, it all just seemed to flow. Now though, her stomach was knotted, and she was dizzy.
Looking around, before she had barely walked around the festival, she only did stuff for her booth, and than the talent show. This year, she was going to have fun, with a date, her first date. Everything was bright, and had as much color as people could put in, without it being overstimulating. Wondering if he had any ideas of where to go and what to see.
Her hands still stung, but they were forgotten in the midst of excitement, looking at him, taking a deep breath, calming down she couldn't stop smiling though. Looking around the entrance, she grabbed a small guide to the festival. Looking where stuff is, seeing there was a magician. Also, some other kinds of shows, and so many booths, some explaining what is going on outside the walls.
