..:I don't have time for this:.. Jaida had a pretty isolated childhood, throughout her life it has only been just her and her mother. She was raised in the sands and her home is wherever her feet would take them. There her mother taught her how to survive: ways to find food and shelter, and how to defend herself. She would also teach her how to read and write, and how to get the best bargains at the market. But overall her favourite memories are the ones where her mom taught her how to heal. She would always tell her daughter "a balance must be kept in your heart; though you can destroy you can also heal." Her mother was always teaching her values like that, most of the time they would be hidden in the stories she told her and then Jaida would end up thinking about their meaning for days on end. There were times when they would travel with other tribes or venture into the cities, they would never stay in those places for long, her mother always felt uncomfortable around other people and preferred hiding from them. Jaida has complete trust in her mother but also believes that she is keeping a secret from her. Why she never talked about her family or why she always keeps the gold tattoos around her neck hidden and what had happen to her dad. Though she believes that her mother will tell her the answers when the time was right; she couldn't help but wonder why she felt the need to keep this hidden from her, did she not trust her?
A couple months ago while her and her mother were walking around in the dessert a sandstorm had blown in and with it some of toxins had re-surfaced, while they had been quick to find some shelter her mother had breathed in some of the toxins and had started to fall ill. While Jaida was able to to take care of the worst of the symptoms in the desert, her mother continue to be sick so she decide to bring her to lullanight where she could take better care of her mother. There she is currently staying in a small apartment where she takes care of her mom. To keep the income coming she works at a nearby hospital whenever she can or makes house calls to the patients who can't get to the hospital. This life keeps her really busy and sometimes it can make her so tired that she feels as if she could sleep for years and there are times where she longs to go back out into the dessert and just have some time by herself. Yet she continues to get up every morning and gets on with her life, hoping it will make some kind difference in the world.
..:Well if you wanna know:.. Jaida learned to be very kind and to treat others equality from her mother, as such she never refuses anyone if they need to be heal. She can be very blunt sometimes and does not really know how to act in front of people. Sometimes you can catch her talking aloud to herself when she thinking, as it helps her concentrate but it has gotten her in trouble sometimes. She tends to be shy around others unless it is to tell someone what needs to be done to heal another person or she is very close to that person.
..:Are you getting me something:.. she enjoys feeling the sand in between her toes and the sun over her head and anything to do with nature. She also reading stories, whether it is about the history of this world or fairy-tales about wizards and witches, she will read anything she can get her hands on. she believes that is the best way to learn about the world and about the things she can't experience herself.
..:There is no word strong enough:.. she hates seeing the suffering of others(which is why she decide to be a healer) and hates large crowds.
